We can only consider applications for our services from individuals, groups and organisations who live or are based within the area covered by Huntingdon Town Council, including Oxmoor, Hartford, Sapley, Stukeley Meadows and Hinchingbrooke Park.
Usually, individuals must have been resident in the area for at least 12 months (though we do make exceptions depending on their circumstances). Groups and organisations need to have a large part of their members living in this area and grants will be proportional to the number of residents benefitting from their services.
Most applications will involve one of our officers visiting you at home to assess your needs and financial circumstances. If you have a support worker, please ask them to liaise with us as they can often help us respond to your needs in the most suitable way.
We hold monthly meetings where we assess applications based on the information we have gathered. All details are dealt with in the strictest confidence and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
If you would like to make an application, send your name, contact details and a brief description of the type of help you are interested in using our contact page. One of our team will then contact you to make an appointment.
