Large grant applications

Owing to unprecedented demand for our funding, and in the interests of distributing grants fairly, we have introduced new criteria for large grant applications of £10,000 or more.

We hold two Trustee meetings each year to consider large grant applications. If you would like to be considered, please submit your application along with all supporting information by 31 May or 30 November. If you miss the cutoff date, or do not enclose all the required information, you may be given the opportunity for your application to be carried over to the next submission date. Applications for large grants will be presented to the Trustees for their consideration at the July and January meetings only.

Award applications are heard at our Trustee meetings on the first Tuesday of each month (except August) so all information must be provided promptly to assist with this process or this will be deferred, as it is part of the full decision-making process

I understand that my personal information will be shared with Trustees and if I/we are awarded a grant for goods or services by the Trustees of Huntingdon Freemen’s Trust then the appropriate supplier or provider will be contacted and relevant information about me/us will be forwarded to the agency(s) that provide these goods or services, in order that I receive the items or the service awarded by the grant.

Storing your personal information

A copy of your application including your personal details is held securely on the Trust database for a period of ten years after which it is deleted. The database is not accessible to any third party, other than the Database Consultant and Trust employees.
