MR EDWARD BOCKING

Trustee- Mr Edward (Ted) Bocking.

It was with enormous regret that Trustees received the news of the sad death of Mr Edward (Ted) Bocking in 2016. Mr Bocking had been a member of the Trust since its reorganisation in 1993 to the last year when ill health forced his resignation in February. He held the position of Chairman for many years and was greatly respected by Trustees and staff both past and present. Ted is remembered for his outstanding contribution to the Trust and also for his good sense and humour in all situations. He is sadly missed and is remembered with affection.

LARGE GRANTS

The Trust has made a number of substantial grants to organisations.

£50,000 was granted to the Woodlands Centre at Hinchingbrooke Hospital towards the expansion of the premises for the treatment of patients with cancer.

In March 2015 Richard Hough (Then the Chairman of Trustees) and Ruth Black (Chief Executive) attended a reception and ‘turf cutting’ ceremony at the Centre to mark the official start of the project.
